What is "texas grant initial" in my fasfa?

i just received 7k from it yesterday....why did iget a grant RANDOMLY in april??!? i thought we usually receive fasfa grant awards like over summer or in august or something....is this initial grant i just receivef supposef to be for next yr?? bc it is listed under 2010-11 (this year) for some odd reason...i meam i already got 8800 at the beginning of thr year and now its 16k??...
