QUESTION ABOUT LABOUR & DELIVERY.?

Okay, so im 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby. & i know i might sound immature.. but my biggest fear of giving birth, is farting and pooping while pushing !! LOL. im scared that if iget the epidural (which is my birth plan so far) my body will be so relaxed that iwont be able to control my bowels or hold in any gas. is this true, and has this happened to you with an epidural? if i get a different form of pain relief, like the gas for example.. is this as effective as the epidural in relieving pain? im pretty scared of the pain as well, as i know i dont have a very strong threshold for pain!
