What to do to stop migraines?

Recently been getting bad migraines. When I get them Iget nausea and throw up. I would get weak and not eat til the next day. I dont like goin to the dr because all they want you to do is try all these damn pills,which I cant take anyway due to breastfeeding any one have any advice.im gonnna make n app to see a neutologist soon.
