Why is the conservative definition of compromise: "Give us everything we want and go F*** yourself"?

Well, both sides democrats and republicans are like that. However, it is seen more so with republicans/conservatives. Such as the Reagan's trickle down theory were more is given to the higher class and goes on down to the poorer class. Some conservatives still stick to that same notion like Michelle Bachmann, she is running as a presidential candidate, says that taking away minimum wage is a way to solve the economic crises and not higher taxes for the rich. And another example, the religious right stating that marriage is between a man and a woman/religious institution, when it clearly isn't when married couples have to have a signed contract by the state. So, yes it their agendas/policies/ideology makes your statement true.
